I just got a few questions for blackberry users

1. what kind of map software comes with blackberry? do i need ongoing internet connection for this (for my nokia phone i can just use my GPS and the downloaded nokia map)

2. is it worth it to get the BB bold now? or shud i wait for the next version?

hmm I am waiting for the next version, the bold is only 128 MB ROM, the 8900 is 256, but it is only 2G, so .... waiting for a 3G 8900? .. as for map, I subscribe to vodafone compass.

Edit: there is google maps that you can use with data, ... BB maps also uses data, but there is no maps for NZ i don't think.

BB maps are rubbish for NZ so I use google

As for getting a bold? Depends on what you're after, I love mine but I'm not overly techno savvie

well I don't know about you guys but no NZ maps is pretty rubbish in my books, but hey feel free to use any term you want

Blackberry leave the mapping info to be supplied to them from local carriers/sources this is why AU has no maps either.
