Just got my E75 and so far it is all working perfectly voice, text, email, etc.

The only problem I am having is when trying to get apps.

I go into my apps page, options, download applications, nokia.com   (*the other option is the telecom games homepage)

when it connects to Nokia.com it tells me it cannot detect my phone and I should search for the model below.  It can;t find the Nokia E75. I tried just putting in '75' and it comes up with 6275, N75 as options, but not E75.

Anybody have any idea why the hell it does this?

Is the only option to go to nokia.com on my PC, download the apps there and then trasfer them?

http://store.ovi.com

There's a whole heap of apps, games, themes etc there, some free, some charged. :)

Was there anything in particular you were after?

Also on the handset there is the Download! application, there's quite a bit in there also.

the download! doesn't work either. it says 'error occurred while browsing' when it tries to get the list of downloads, even though all other network type services (email, internet, calling) all work fine.

However, I got around it by going to ovi.com on my PC, signed up, got a direct link to download the ap store application, sent the link to my phone via SMS, then followed it and downloaded the ap store ap to myphone. now I can download apps direct from there. Sweet.

I really want an ap that is good for facebook - uploading pics, vids etc without too much hassle. Any ideas?
