Since just getting new XDAIIi I cannot sync it over my work or home network.... my I-Mate did it flawlessly every time.... aaarrrrggghh!

I've enable netwrok sync on connection settings, made sure the PDA is trying with the correct computer each time, what have I not done??

Anything to do with the tick box "use mbile schedule to sync with this pc" on the PDA??

Cheers,
James

What type of connection are you using? Wireless LAN or GPRS?

Ooops... Sorry this was on the title. Anyway, you're not using ActveSync 4.0, are you? Remote ActiveSync is now removed from this version.

If you're using ActiveSync 3.8 or less then I would start by checking any personal firewall software that migh have been installed since the last time you've used ActiveSync remotely.

If nothing has changed then you might have to check that your Pocket PC is in the same subnet as your computer - the best thing you can do is download and install the (free) VxUtil. Then use it from your Pocket PC to PING your desktop by IP address and see if you have a response and if the connectivity is not an issue.
