O2 have no backup support as the devices are not officially sold here.

with the i-mate
You are stuck with MobileFoneRepair (service solutions)
Accord (ICS) have now been absorbed by MFR.

I won't comment on this "service" but you can tell by my emoticon and searchibng these forums what they are like. Tech Pacific supported my old Qtek very well , i-mate support is done through "carrier solutions" in Australia,

i-mate's support is "Carrier Devices", and dowloads, etc are from www.clubimate.com.

The problem with O2 XDA is that these are not available here in New Zealand through official channels, while i-mate devices are distributed through Vodafone resellers - so you always have someone to go back in case of problems.

And since the devices are exaclty the same, I'd go with the i-mate Jam.
