I'm sporting a Toshiba e755 with windows 2003 os, which has SD and CF capability. Can anyone recommend a GPS receiver? What is good in today’s market? Where can I find reviews on GPS accessories?
Check our review section - plenty of GPS alternatives there. The main ones are Bluetooth GPS and SD GPS.
The SD GPS is great if you don't need a card and don't have Bluetooth. On the other hand it uses the Pocket PC power.
The Bluetooth GPS can be powered separately, there are some new solar-powered options and it can be placed on your vehicle's dashboard.
There are also some Pocket PC cradles with built-in GPS, which are really good if you only want to use it in the car - it can power the Pocket PC at the same time.
Thanks. I am split between two receivers. In comparison, which receiver would be a more reliable product for my unit: Pharos SD, or a Globalsat SD receiver?
