I just brought a sprint pocket pc there are plenty of free hotspots in my area how do I setup wifi on my pocket pc to connect to these hotspots.

You just have to turn the Wi-Fi on, and the Pocket PC will show a notification when in range of a hotspot. You then tap [Connect] and that's all.

Of course some Wi-Fi access points are visible, but not available without a key. Others are visible, but not free. There is even the odd free one in some cafes.

And there are of course the visible ones without security, but not meaning it's for everyone to use. Perhaps an unaware user who forgot to set the appropriate security?
