Hi

Just upgraded to an Apache from a Harrier. Nice phone, pity about the fustrating setup for activesync.

I upgraded to AS4.1 from the 4.0 thjat shipped due to these problems hoping it would fix it.

I have been trying all day to get activesync working and only just got it working when I accidentally unplugged my network cable!!?.

After further investigation I have found that indeed I can only sync when my network cable is unplugged, if I leave it plugged in and try to connect the apache I get the green swirl going round and round indefinately.

I'm not running a firewall, and have followed installation instructions to the T.

Any ideas why this is?

Thanks in advance.

David

Hi pland

Thanks for the link, problem solved.

We are running ISA 2004 and I have the firewall client installed. However, I had the previous (2000?) version that did not seem to update after I made changes to the firewall client settings as per your link.

Updated to the 2004 client and it works fine.

Many Thanks

David
