I have MS ActiveSync 4.1 which syncronizes my device okay - but I cannot see the window on my desktop. It shows up fine on the Task Bar but even using restore I can't see what is happening - help!!

Welcome to Geekzone... Could it be that the window is actually open, but outside of the boundaries of your desktop?

Try this: double-click the icon in the system tray. Now press Alt-Tab to show the open programs. If the icon corresponding to ActiveSync is there, keep pressing Alt-Tab until it is selected - or simply click on the icon in the Taskbar.

Now, press Alt (and without releasing it) press the space bar. Release both and press M (for move). Release the M and use the arrow keys to move the window around. Move to left or right, up or down until you see it in the desktop. Then press Enter to stop the Move action.

This may happen if you had the window open while using a high resolution, and then changed to a lower resolution, leaving the window outside of the current desktop...
