Has anyone found a supplier that will ship these to NZ?

No sign that Vodafone (or even Telecom) will have them in the long term by the looks of this article http://www.nbr.co.nz/opinion/blackberry-playbook-tablet-arriving-nz-sometime.

Now it has been confirmed they will run Android apps (if submitted) and can be tethered to any bluetooth connection not just that of a Blackberry I am even more keen.

Out in Aussie June 1 by the looks. May make it here for the World Cup according to NBR.

Firstin had the 16g one up recently and it sold out. Almost ready to give up and order via parallel importer such as Mobicity.

I would honestly go to either bali or aussie to buy one, they would be cheaper I am sure.

NZ is slow when it comes to RIM. I wanna get a 9900 with a playbook. One day soon I hope!

"RIM's PlayBook tablet subsequently made it to the market, but hasn't been released in all countries. In comments made to NBR, the company was keen to get the PlayBook onto the New Zealand market - but was waiting on Vodafone to rouse its interest. Reuters reports initial PlayBook sales as "lumpy"."

It's a very business focused device, so wouldn't be surprised if Geni started selling it even if Telecom Retail don't (like they did with the iPhone)

We bought one over from US. Disappointed over all. Need to have bluetooth connection turned on, on both the playbook and the blackberry phone to recieve emails on the playbook which in turn sucks more battery of course. UI is nice including the ability to multitask but the size of the screen is way too small. It's a good gaming device if some decent games come out for it but the web browsing and media expereince for me was very disappointing.

Do whatever you want to do man.

Im the opposite. I found the ipad so big it was useless as a media carry around. Almost brought the 7inch Galaxy tab which was perfect size but the media playback was sub par so didnt. This is almost as good as an Archos which it would replace for codec support.

I think with all these tablets it really depends on what you want them for.
