Welcome to Geekzone. When you say "won't respond to anything" does it mean the touchscreen is not responding, or something else?

It is normal on Windows Mobile for programs to stay running. The (X) button is a "minimise" option, not close. If your Pocket PC is running low on memory and you want to close programs, then try MagicButton (http://www.trancreative.com) for this.

You can also clear the cache used by Internet Explorer, if you use to browse a lot with your Pocket PC. Open Internet Explorer, and look for the [Delete Files] button in Tools | Options.

yup. the touchscreen wasnt responding.
i already installed pocketplus. i believe it has an option that can close a program by just pressing the X.
i got it fixed now. i did two hard resets. i dont know why, but the first hard reset didnt do anything.

thanks so much!!
