Hello again :)

Could you please advise which brand of SD card is best?

Kingston
SanDisk
A-Data

are brand names I've heard of, but also I believe speed and voltage should be considered as well.

As you can judge, I know next to nothing about this stuff, so your advice would be much appreciated! :)

I have both SanDisk and Kingston, both working ok on my camera and Pocket PCs. I also have a Pretec 133x speed. This is the fastest one around here and the camera can take pictures much faster when this card is inserted...

Seeing as you're also in New Zealand (Wellington I think you said), do you know where I could buy a battery for my ipaq 4350?
None of the Trademe sellers appear to have this particular one, so if my current battery conks out, it will be bad news LOL (my ipaq was bought second hand on Trademe, so I have no idea how much life it has left).

I have used sandisk and kingston and find them to be equally good. Highly recommend either of them, so just go for whatever is cheaper

Do be aware that flash memory does not retain information forever. 10 years is typically the life.

Is that 10 years storage of a particular instance of stored data? or is that 10 years of the projected useful life of the card itself?
