Hi there

I just got an SP5 (yay!) - but all I can find is the direct push thing! I can't find where to disable that, and turn ON the old SMS send-it-via-email thing, which was in pre-AKU2.

Anyone know how to turn it back on? the DirectPush thing is, um, rather expensive for Data, right?

N

You can't change this behaviour. Windows Mobile AKU2 devices will be offered only the option of Direct Push, while older versions (Windows Mobile 5 and Windows Mobile 2003) will see the SMS-initiated push technology.

If you get to a data plan with at least 15MB you should be covered for all traffic you need (except of course the e-mails themselves).

OK. I'm on a 15meg one.... pity about that. The SMS one worked REALLY well, and I dont need it to be Crackberry-immediate.

Ta for that.
