we are getting a WAP push message to a push client registered to the push router on a WM5.0 PPC device [DOPOD900, JASJAR, KJAM], but message is in WBXML format. How can we convert the message to XML format?

AFAIK, the WBXML is just another form of XML:

compact binary representation of the Extensible Markup Language [XML]. The binary XML content format is designed to reduce the transmission size of XML documents, allowing more effective use of XML data on narrowband communication channels. Refer to the [WML] specification for one example use of the binary XML content format.

WBXML is another form of XML , but WBXML is human unreadable format. It can't be parsed, so first it has to be changed to XML format.

When I used the libwbxml library to convert the WBXML file back to xml, the tool was unable to perfrom the conversion.
I found that both of the WBXML files, converted by libwbxml library and file on the device, are different.

Is the XML to WBXML conversion can be done in many ways? (or in my case, is it the fault of the operator, who is sending the messages.)
