cbdkid: Looks like Clove has stock now: http://www.clove.co.uk/nokia-lumia-920

Have given up on the Lumia 920. I feel that it has been too long for any info for release dates in NZ and pricing. Have purchased 2 x iPhone 5 for the wife and I. At least now I will have an estimated delivery of 3-4 weeks for my new phone.

Clove's price is a lot better than Mobicity's (note that AFAIK Mobicity still haven't shipped to anyone who pre-ordered).
Clove's ex-VAT price is £433.33 = NZ$842.4195 + 15% GST = $968.78.

The same as Mobicity's price, except with Mobicity you're probably going to get hit with another 15% GST on top of that once it comes through customs = NZ$1114.35

Temptation to order through an importer rising... Better hear something from Telecom or Nokia or someone soon.

Finch: After reading about the Nokia Lumia 920 im tempted to switch from Android/SGS3, not sure why I just like the look of the 920s Hardware. However one major concern I have is the amount of apps compared to Android. I just browsed windowsphone.com and there isn't really that many. Should I be worried? lol

App numbers are overated in my opinion.

Unless there's something very very specific that you use then in most cases there's apps for pretty well anything you want. With Nokia there's the Nokia Beta Labs that are working on new and interesting apps all the time.

[sarcasm]

Yes, I'd be worried too if a platform couldn't match almost 500 fart apps available like Google Play lists:

I wonder if Mobicity will drop their price to compete.

I've asked directly about dropping their price with the Ativ S in relation to Warehouse Stationary's preorder price and they said they wouldn't.

Yeah, Flagship Smartphone in NZ is always around the $1k mark. Strange but it has been like since iPhone one, remember the last Symbian Nokias? Yeah, even they were around NZ$1000.

Looks like it might be black only when it does launch here. http://www.nokia.com/nz-en/products/phone/lumia920/specifications/

Helps me out big time. I'll have to import to get colour.

I'll probably get a coloured one from Clove or Negri, whoever gets stock first. Telstra ones might be locked given they have an exclusivity deal.
