freitasm: ... you find out the wireless charging is gone...

Is it still smaller if you add the wireless charging cover thing (I hate the concept: the Qi charging should be built in)

Warning: reality may differ from above post

There seems to be a surprising issue Re the mass of the 920, are the complainants owners or speculators? Having used a 920 exclusively for the last 6 months I would have to say its mass is no issue at all

As is usual after 6mths of any particular handset I am getting bored and would like something new but there is nothing in any of the OS camps that is exciting enough to make me consider, I have my hopes pinned on a true 920 successor or even the rumored big screen ip6 :P

Weaklings, who should do some press-ups and find something important to man about.

Yeah, I've had the 920 in my hands and the weight/size is not an issue at all, tell him he's dreamin.

Looks like it might be the 920 for me till something better is the WP camp comes along.

old3eyes: Another way of making money out of the windows phone fans to upgrade from their L920 to the 925.. It's all marketing fluff.

Most people with 920's won't feel compelled to upgrade, some will. New buyers get a new refreshed/revised product/model.

Improved product revisions are normal practice, don't see the problem.

So what is the deal with the likely timing for local teleco's/importers to get this post release? For instance how long after the 920 release was it in stores here?

Still quite tempted to get a 920 for try, other than CalDev being already in the 925, looking forward to multiple calendars.

Cheers

Considering The Warehouse is the only store carrying the 720 so far?

My guess is longer than is reasonable and that is as good as anybody else's.

I'm not sure why but none of the carriers are trying to 'get behind' Windows or Nokia, none of the bigger retailers for that matter. If you ask me there is a major opportunity to sell Nokia's to people who got a Nokia as their first phone in the late nineties and to people who want integration with the Windows 8 PC they have at home.

Sad really.

Didn't anybody tell you I was a hacker?

Thinking of switching to WP8 from android. Wouldn't have a clue what phone to consider. Do I go for the cheaper option of the 920 or wait to see of this is released here?

Same dilemma here..Guess it depends on what the likely retail is going to be of the 925 v.s the 920.

I still can't decide on the 920 colour...like the Red, Yellow and black.

I would wait to see the 925 when that is released here. it is a much better design that the 920.

Is there any reason you want to go to WP8 from Android? Anything that draws you there?

Time for a change. Been rocking Android since it's inception with a short break to Apple in 09. I'll keep my Note 2 as a media device, but it gives me the best of everything. Apple ipod Touch 5g, Note 2 for android, then 925 for Windows.
