Hi running Windows Mobile 5 and sync it up with my computer daily ... should I be getting that DST cab file or can I cross my fingers and do nothing (and if I do, can I apply the file after Sunday)?

Mobile5 is easy, there are proper MS cab files and processes (not the one I mentioned previously) - just google it.

Remember to change your timezone to another one and back once you've applied the changes.

Err ... so I can't just sit back and hope that my computer will update the PPC automatically?

sure you can - it just won't do you any good :)

the easiest way is to look at you calendar for next week and see if your appointments are an hour earlier than they should be.  if they are then you'll have to do the update.

welliegeek: I had a colleague with the same issue for PPC2003 and found this page for him.

Luckily a chap here in NZ has created a cab file that changes the registry for you.

Worked for my colleague is all I'll say :)

I can concur this works with WM2003 first edition (tested with HP H6315)

Sadly would not install under WM 2003 SE on SP3 Smartphone (I note above refers to "PPC").
