@gundar - This is sad news indeed for my wife. She too is a Windows Phone user. She does not like Android at all and iPhone leaves her cold. The Facebook integration is one of the few reasons she actually uses this piece of technology.

PS It's sad to see so many people rant against your desire for this continued feature. Their negativity adds absolutely nothing to this discussion.

- My wife uses her phone instead of a tablet or most days even in preference to a computer. She and many other will feel this loss.

- How about joining xpd in his man-cave? Some people like vi, others emacs and other still notepad. Why not add something constructive to the conversation?

- Android & iPhone are not suitable options for my wife. She is not technical, but also want to share & interact with her friends. Hopefully, somebody will come up with a solution.

The fact my mother knows how to use an iPhone is proof enough you don't need to be in any way technical to use an iPhone.

They wont, not in my opinion anyway. I can see the mobile division growing significantly over the next few months or so.

I suggest Facebook support on different the phone types should be Facebook's responsibility, not the phone provider. That way Facebook can change its APIs as much as it likes and updates it's own mobile apps.
