$1300NZD inc gst imported from HK by somebody I know. I would have waited a few months till this came down in price but my old Moto was dead so I didnt have the luxury of time.

Re Vodafone NZ *shurg* personal prefferance I guess, personally I couldnt care less for using Vodafone Live contant services.

For those interested in battery life it seems quite reasonable to me, I can get two full days usage out without needing a recharge. This includes about 20 minutes of 3G usage, 15-20 mins calling and lots of stuffing round reading emails/txts for another 30 mintues and another 30 mins of mp3 usage every day.

Aloha: Hi Fraktul,

About the Taskbar you needed:
If I am right, if you keep pressing the menu button long enough it will bring up the pictures of the open applications like a task bar.

So it does! Cheers :)

By the way I have come up againt the dreaded "out of memory" message a few times now, once in browsing my-symbian.com (I couldnt reproduce this however when I visited it again). The other was when trying to zoom more then 50% into a 3mega pixel cam shot, which is apparently able to be reproduced on all phones. Seems odd that NV mem is not used for cache as this would have resolved these problems IMHO. There is 40meg sitting on the phone, I would have far rather have 35 meg and had 5meg used for swap.

I presume things were done this way for a reason however. Some or all of them may be fixable in firmware updates.

Another one for you guys. How do I make the alarm reoccuring? In the time settings all i can set if the alarm for the next day which is annoying as if I forget to do this I dont get my wakeup call. I can get round this by setting a reoccuring metting in Outlook and then synching and importing this but there must be a better way?

Hmm, well most alarm clocks I have used you set once, then it wakes you up every morning, normally you dont have to set it every day. Seems just a tad backwards.

Oh well more sleeping in and wandering in to work late for me! Silver lining in every cloud.

Nope, it tells you how to set the alarm but not how to make it reoccuring(have read manual from cover to cover now).

It sort of baffles me as to why you would not want it reoccuring. I mean you either set it and have it on or turn it off and one would assume that cover everything you would want.

Oh by the way you were asking about Outlook Sync before, works fine but does not sync emails for some reason (does notes, contacts, calander etc). Need to look into that as I didnt really try get it working, just noticed option was greyed out for some reason before heading home.

i dont think it will sync emails.

what about fields mapping? my biggest gripe about 3650 and outlook was the fields mapping and it is very inconsistent and nokia address book will dynamically add new fields as needed, but they don't really match up with outlook's fields

I have a 6680, which use S60 2nd edition: you have to set up the alarm every day.

My wife has a 6280, which use S40 (so it's not a smartphone) and you can set up on which days you want the alarms.. funny, isnt it?

Anyway on many symbian web pages there are thousands of application (regarding alarm clock too) you can download, but for most of them: you have to pay.

try: http://www.my-symbian.com

I is a kollege stoodent. Bee nice.
