Well no, not the same. The Advanced Config was the source of my problems.  I had to use Device Manager and not Advanced Config.

You can use the Device Manager to delete conflicts, and after that do everything through the bluetooth interface. But this is a specific machine problem.

The theory is the same and applies to all Bluetooth software, regardless of manufacturer/developer: create incoming COM port, select on ActiveSync, create partnership from Pocekt PC... Sync.
