Yea, the stupid duty and crap (duty is so annoying when trying to import things) should come to about approx. $134- $140.

Although it still makes it cheaper than buying it from etown.

Can't beat the burble of that American V8. Ohh yea!

And cheaper than Vodafone, everyone I've spoken to there says this will not sell for less than $1500, and even then you'll wait a few months to see it here. . . looks like expansys will be taking my hard-earned. . .

yes, the price will drop quickly ($100-$200) in the 1st 3 weeks but the most likely the model will be out of supply very soon. it is one of the most anticipated model on the market.

the price on the etown site is big high but we can do a good deal if mentioning geekzone site.

I will put my N95 review up later tonight if I get a chance. Have not yet had time to do much more than open the box, turn on and plug into the charger.

Ok, quick review for tonight since I have a lot of work to do and spent too long playing already

Most of what I will compare to will be the N80 since that was my last phone.

Build Quality
Excellent, slider is a lot tighter than the N80. Also the slider shoots out, this freaked me out somewhat when i first opened it as I had not had this happen on the N80, its quite powerful.

Everything fits together nicely.

Upon very close inspection there is one pixel which is not functioning correctly, however this is only visible if you are looking at it side on and know its there (took me looking for flaws after several hours to even notice).

Cool items included
My pack came with a 1GB micro SD card, those of you ordering for Australia may not get this, I'm not sure as it appears country specific. I already have a 2GB micro SD card though, but nice to have!

Leather case, this was an unexpected bonus in the box, quite nice put the little button stick thing to open it is bloody tight (pain in the butt to close till its worn in.

Screen protector, yup it comes included. Well done Nokia.

Features
I wont list all the features, you all know what the unit can do. What I will give is my impression of how I have found these so far.

GPS usage is simple, I open the maps tool, it wanted to connect to the network, did something for a few minutes (download maps I assume) and hey presto it is showing my location in the Auckland CBD. Driving home was fun, I could watch my progress on the gps easily and it seems accurate to about 5-15m. Turning the maps utility on once it has the maps results in it locking on to location in a matter of about 5 seconds outside, this exceeded my expectations.

Camera, excellent! Far better than the N95, yay for auto focus. No sign of the mars effect. Video, pretty good but I wouldn't call it DVD quality. There are N95 vids on youtube, these give a pretty accurate depeiction of what you can expect.

Music,

nuff said. N95 rocks for music playback, sound quality is very good for a mobile phone. Not quite Ipod quality but close to it on my Senn 300's (didn't even bother with the stock headphones).

Other random stuff
UI speed, lots better than the N80. Its instant or close to it in 90% of cases and acceptable in the remaining 10%.

Screen is much nice then the N80 IMO, you don't notice the loss in resolution but you most defiantly do notice the increased size.

Also, what languages are supported on your phone? Traditional Chinese?

Hmm, I really am looking for a N95 that supports Traditional Chinese. I know some Nokia phones can read Traditional Chinese if they have the simplifed Chinese capability.

It was imported from Hong Kong.

Chinese is supported but I don't know if its traditional or simplified sorry as I cannot read what is said in the languages menu.

Hey, I read on the net that taking photos do take a while - to take it and to save it. Is this true? What is your opinion on this?

It's not as fast as a digicam, it is faster than the n80 was however. I would say its acceptable.

I will post a proper review on the weekend.
