Some nice touches. For example, in the messaging app there is a noticeable difference between sent vs. received by way of a slightly darker tone of colour on your outgoings. Smiley faces also seem to be different.

Haven't had any luck with the speech to text actually recogising what I'm saying yet though!

Just finished mine about an hour ago. Totally awesome. Created a family group right away. The voice quality seems to have dropped a smidgen but I do have poor signal even on GSM so I'll recheck somewhere else. Updating foursquare at the moment.

CruciasNZ: I've heard rumor 2? is thinking of supporting WP7 as well as Android. When mentioned to a 2? staff member I got "wait and see ;)" so yeah

Well, I've noticed my (Telecom supplied) LG Optimus has 2degrees MMS settings burned into the OS image... the plot thickens.

I've had the developer beta on my mozart for a while. Updated to release mango no problems.

Just want that wifi hotspot...  Hope VF gets on to that soon.

This really is a crazy force technique. Makes you wonder whether it was leaked from within MS, or whether it was an accident...

Wow, has anyone else tried the QR reader and text scanner:
Search > Vision
Recognises QR codes without any further button-pushing, and provides a link to the site.
Press the scan text button, and it turns scanned text into searchable words, with pretty good accuracy.

The feature I'd like to see really working is the local bing in NZ - need POI and local scout. If you select a point on a map in Australia or US then click search local you get all kinds of good stuff. Sigh. NZ just a backwater for MS. Perhaps the Nokia-MS thing will add better POI data and maps for NZ. Pain to have to set your location to UK for maps to work.

Anyone got the voice search working well?  Seems to have a lot of trouble with my twang...even my fake american voice that usually works doesn't get past it :)

Pfft. We're backwaters for everything.  I am just counting the days until Amazon realises I don't live in San Francisco and get cut off from the American Kindle store..

Got mango-fied last night on my AT&T branded Samsung Focus.  Loving it!

Any chance Telecom will support visual voice mail?
