enfield: It $1280sg in mustafa market in singapore ,, but im worried about the warranty as i think its limited to singapore only?

any comments where to buy it from ?

Nokia don't have any international warranty which is fairly typical for mobile phones. You have a choice really - no warranty and cheaper price or pay more in NZ and have a warranty.

I'm not sure that is quite right. From what I can gather if you buy overseas you will have a manufacturers warranty, to what extent that covers you, and how you access that warranty (send the phone there?), I'm not sure of however.

Which is what I was trying to say. Of course Nokia NZ won't honour the warranty.

ETOWN:

The parrallel import business means that importers use profit to cover the warranty repair.

yes, the price will drop quickly ($100-$200) in the 1st 3 weeks but the most likely the model will be out of supply very soon.  it is one of the most anticipated model on the market.

the price on the etown site is big high but we can do a good deal if mentioning geekzone site.

Lance

I went into etown yesterday, and I asked about the "mention Geekzone discount" and the perosn behind the counter said that he didn't know what I was on about and said that the owners didn't have any discount that was to be offered to Geekzone members.

What is the deal with this?

Thanks, Matt.

Note that this offer was posted by someone else, not by us... So I am not sure what was this about.

I might just buy it from parallel imports as there is no other option, its sad that its so expensive in NZ.I rang vodafone and they said it wont be here till mid-year on the other hand quite a lot of service providers are giving out n95 on contract in UK .I think vodafone price in NZ would be more than $2000 :\

I would be interested in group buys if anyone is up for it

Cheers

Sure thing, I was planning on giving a reasonably comprehensive review of their service and also the total cost including customs and so forth.

Will get back to you all in around a week - can't wait!
