I've transferred my SMS's, contacts, music and photos etc. But do MMS messages (sent to me) get transferred, as well as any videos I recorded? If so, where to? I can't seem to find them anywhere :(

I don't think you get those out. From now on Windows Phone will backup everything though so if you move phones it will give the option to restore.

I may have an idea to move the MMS's and videos - will look into it tomorrow.
In the interim, what settings should I have so I can send from my phone? My e-mail is not with Vodafone. smtp2.vodafone.net.nz doesn't work - the message just sits in the Outbox, but receiving is working fine.

You have to use your provider's SMTP server - preferably over a SSL connection.

Ah true. My e-mail is with Orcon, so I don't think that will work :(

If Orcon offers secure SMTP then it should work just fine.

Getting my head around this phone, it's quite a cool phone actually. Having issues finding some apps though - one that allows streaming of .pls (Winamp) files - no version of Winamp appears to exist for Windows Phone. Also I'd like to be able to play a stream (using Flash player) that has been embedded into a webpage...is this doable?

VLC has an option to play a stream, it may also play .pls files
