The update comes through Microsoft, regardless of the SIM inserted in the device.

Recieved the AT&T update this afternoon on the focus device. Samsung had also added few things of their own to it.

Now when playing a game like fruit ninja for e.g, If I accidently slide my fingers towards the capactivie button, they will not activate :-)

Also in the default camera app, the setting for 'Anti Shake' is now set to ON by default as well.

Do whatever you want to do man.

They need to bring this out for all WP7. Thats one of my biggest anoyyances about playing games on my Omnia, accidently sliding my finger over the search or back button... Which happens quite a bit. Hopefully this will be rectified

My WP7 (Trophy) failed to integrate with the road recently and was returned to HTC for repair. Upon return it had been wiped so I've been reconfiguring it and when I connected to Zune it offered this update. I don't remember this update, so my question is, is this an exsiting update that was reversed when they wiped it or is this a addtional update?

You probably just received a refurbished unit. Or they just reimaged it with an old ROM.

Guessing it's a ROM image as my MAC has not changed.

Also note you should see a new update available from today. It's just a security update, reated to the SSL certificate breach reported in the media a couple of months ago.

This is not a Windows Phone security problem - new certificate revocation list were updated on all major platforms (mobile or not).

Update 7392 came through for me today on my Samsung Focus (originally from AT&T but now on 2Degrees). Installed without any issues.
Always a nervous time though...

I am yet to recieve the update on my AT&T samsung focus. Did you unbrand or jailbreak your phone to install previous updates?

My telus branded surround got the update no problems. Realised during the backup step I have too much stuff on my phone.

I got my NoDo update using the disconnect method discussed on GZ

Have not receive dthe 7392 update on my Omnia 7 yet (on 2 degrees) should I be concerned?  Bought the phone whenit was a month old and it already had the NoDo update but not sure if that was put on in a standard manner.

Carrier unbranded for NoDo.. but not chevron unlocked.
My phone is developer unlocked though, not sure if that makes any difference.

My friends Omnia 7 has yet to receive this latest update also.
