You have to laugh at some of the lame excuses being as the reason for selling on TradeMe. There wasn't one for sale the other day now there's several. You can't tell me that most are these sales aren't from opportunist purchasers

One advert is touting the rarity value as a selling point.

Also all the experts saying how it'll be able to run on Android soon.

One seller has opened the box and used the Touchpad just to make sure it works prior to on selling.

One bought it as a gift for someone who already had it so is selling it. That is the same reason as for the first one he sold lol

Well, we fought the good fight, but Mobicity have confirmed they will not be moving on the price. They are also taking up the issue of incorrect information given to me by the online CSR, with her manager. Good luck with securing cheap TouchPads elsewhere fellow Geekzoners, and I'm sorry this deal didn't pan out.

I wonder how many he got his hands on and who he works for? As a retailer I'd be a little disappointed that I'd given my staff first go at the cheap Touchpads only to find those staff taking advantage and selling like this on TradeMe, assuming that what's going on of course.

I'd say it's a deal they would normally do on casual stock, but this time round they are looking for maximum profit and don't want to go down that road.
