magu:
Technofreak: I plan to place the order for the Poetic cases tomorrow.  I have PM's from several peope, if anyone who wants one and hasn't PM'ed me please do so.

I complained to Incipio on Twitter and this is what they told me:

"@rafaelmagu It has been brought to our attention that concerns have arisen over the fit and functionality of this case with regards to the specifications of the HP TouchPad. We thank you for your feedback and value your suggestions and concerns, and are taking measures to address any lingering device-specific issues. As a result, we are committed to addressing your concerns by making modifications to the KICKSTAND® to accommodate all ports, buttons, and functions. We will be re-releasing a modified version of the KICKSTAND®, available in approximately two to three weeks.
If you would like to receive this updated version, or would prefer to process a refund instead, please e-mail us at support@myincipio.com with your order number and confirmation of your decision. Alternatively, we are happy to send you a different HP TouchPad case of your choice. You may browse your case options here: http://ncpo.cc/f4y
In addition, as a thank you for your feedback and continued support, we would like to offer you a one-time use 30% coupon to http://www.myincipio.com, valid for one year from today’s date."

So I sent them an email saying I want the case but won't pay anything. Let's see what they say.

Still getting the Poetic, though, which seems like it will work better with the touchstone charger.

Do I need to return the old one in order to get the modified version?

That is a question you'll have to ask them. I haven't received a reply yet.

I just sent them an email with a question regarding whether we'd have to return them or not, I made the point that return international shipping would be uneconomical for me so it will be interesting to hear what they have to say. If anyone gets a reply with more details feel free to let us know!

I haven't played with any of the settings yet as my speed seemed to be pretty good - so it's worth doing?

Absolutely. The difference is huge. Overclocking also made it much better to me.

Wow just got a full refund from incipio  including shipping for the 4 cases I bought. They said no need to return originals either, quite impressed although would've preferred that they had been truthful in the first place.

Decided against replacement as I did not trust them after the first time.

Have people been generally telling the TP that they're in NZ or in the USA to get access to the bigger app repository?

My appstore is set to NZ, didn't want to have to mess around with US credit card and billing address for paid apps.

That's a pretty good price.

However still not worth it if purchasing from FirstIn.

You can forget it if you ever need to lodge a warranty claim.
