If you previously ordered from OnSale via Amazon you have a second chance at getting a TouchPad (Limit 1). Go to this website - http://store.onsale.com/n/msc-189

It's been up for a couple hours now but they're still verifying and giving links out only to people who have had orders previously cancelled... Just thought I would post for anyone who hasn't been looking at TouchPad availability in the US.

With onSale? They got back saying the couldn't fulfill the order. Got my refund and all. No longer want it since I went the eBay route.

I had had enough waiting and decided one Touchpad in the family was enough so cancelled the Mobi City order.  I hope I haven't been too hasty.

I originally had two Touchpad orders with MobiCity but cancelled one when I got one off Ebay.  At that time I posted on this thread my dismay at MobiCity's service and the fact I'd not got a full refund from MoneyBrokers who handled the C/C payments.

Well I'm pleased to report MobiCity have redeemed themselves.

They were having difficulties refunding the second payment via MoneyBrokers.  MobiCity emailed me asking for account details so that they could refund directly to me.  I pointed out that I had not gotten the full refund on the first refund.

I have just received an email telling me that the full amount including the short payment from MoneyBrokers will be credited to my bank account.   Thank you MobiCity!!!!!

I went into Noel Leeming in Queenstown and they still had stock of them out the back. Paid $65 iirc.

I tried cancelling my Mobicity order but after over a week it still hasn't happened :( I can't raise a service desk ticket when logged in either as the site doesn't work

For those still holding on with Mobicity, latest update sounds a bit daunting:

Update 28/09/2011

As you may know, HP changed their CEO this week. At this stage it is unknown what their new leader's longer term strategy will be regarding webOS products and if they will be revived or re-instated. However what is clear is that such a move further disrupts a business already in the midst of tumultous times and may have an effect on the distribution timelines of their 'last batch' TouchPads. We've not yet received updated ETA for receipt of these goods and none of them appear to have hit the market through any other channels as yet.

What we can confirm however is that as far as previously explained, the items are still being allocated to us by HP, and that we are still waiting to be invoiced and receive tracking information. We expect it to be soon, although given recent boardroom changes at HP it's likely that the late September date previously advised may slip back a bit further. Either way, as soon as we know more detailed information we'll update this thread accordingly.

Following this we will also update our customers and then provide tracking information by email once we begin shipping. Until this time new orders will continue to be verified and placed into backorder. Order details can be changed and updated at any time prior to shipment, but an order is required to lock in your TouchPad as demand is still extremely high. If you have any questions please hit the 'Contact Us' link on our website or press the submit a request button above.

Just saw this http://www.top-10.co.nz/motorola-xoom-10-1-dual-core-processor-android-3-0-honeycomb-1.html?SID=9164b6ec64ddf56ed4b9b770322f00e7. Seems not a bad price for a 32GB android tablet, but I've never sued one or used this site either.

$20 for shipping is a joke. I asked them what the deal is with expensive shipping, I was ignored.

On that fact alone I would avoid using them.
