Just thought I'd see what people think the last generation, Xbox 360 & ps3, will be priced at come the boxing day sales. I know last year the basic Xbox 360 model got down to about $200. During black Friday in the states they were selling at $100. I'm wanting to get back into a wee bit of gaming but the new generation of consoles are overkill for my needs, and way out of budget.

2 years ago the 360 was being sold at $170 for the basic version on boxing day. They now have a new model, which is apparently not as full featured as the sightly older gen model, but apparently it is quieter.

I will be looking out for a cheap ps3 this year for the kids, the 12gb got down to about $219 iirc, best I have seen so far is $249 so I am fingers crossed they end up south of $200

Oh yes I recall that deal, hopefully something similar or better this year for the xbox360 and PS3. The consoles go for higher than I thought they would on Tradme given the next gens are now out.
