My 15yo daughter is a gamer although I'm not. She bought a PS3, what happens if she borrows some of my games , will that cause issues if I want to use them on mine? I'd assume so, but as I'm not a gamer ( but wanting to try a few) and in these days of family sharing that I've read about for PS or Xbox can we share legally?

Or if not can she try mine without issue then buy her own, without limiting my use?

If there are exclusive use codes for downloadable content then they can only be used by one account, if she's just wanting to play the base game then it will be fine.

Tks Poll. My games are disk purchases. How does that fit?

Note that I am not into piracy of games,etc, I want to know what options exist or not exist

For any disc purchase it is fine. a very common thing to have happen is you will get a code for some additional content bundled with your disc, that code will only be able to be used on one console but it is completely fine to use the game on both consoles.

An example of this would be with the snowboarding game Ssx it came with a code for an extra mountain, that code can only be used once and the person that uses it will be the only one with access to that mountain.

Shouldn't be a problem at all.

Like the poster above me has already mentioned, only extra content or DLC codes that came with the games will not work if it is already installed on YOUR PS3.

You will likely be technically breaking the software license because most terms say you don't own the game, rather have a non transferable license to play it. However rental and lending of games is common on consoles.
