roughly the same price and I hear the 2180 will over clock to 3.7 ghz
anyone using either of these chips and would recommend them?
I'm an AMD fan so this intel stuff is all foreign

E2180 has quite a bit better performance than E2160. But I doubt that you will get it to 3.7Ghz without cooking it.
You would be better spending the money on an Athlon X2 4000 or 4400.
