Hi guys,

I'm sick of playing UT3 online on the Playstation Network and getting crappy pings from foreign hosts.

So I figure we could compile a list of Geekzone PSN ID's and a list of games we play, that way we can get some New Zealand games going!

I'll start:

PSN ID: Envy94

GAMES: Unreal Tournament 3. Also ranked for Devil May Cry 4.

Thanks AmooMan.

I'll add you when I get home and I'll check out that list.

As for UT3, its great! The difficulty is pretty meh on everything except hard though. And I haven't tried it yet, but I hear that the keyboard/mouse control is great!

PSN ID: halfbakednz

Games:
Burnout Paradise - Play often
ResistanceFOM - I try every now and then but everyone else is just too good already
Fear - Same as above, get pwnd every time
Pixeljunk Monsters - Not really an online game but ranks scores online - addictive little game, worth the 10-15 bucks

I also have some other games that if anyone is after id be willing to trade/sell/ or maybe even lend

Tony hawk (project8 maybe? not sure of the exact title)
Fight Night Round....something? - best "people graphics" ive ever seen
Armoured Core 4
Drakes Fortune - Love the game, got it for xmas and finished it boxing day :(
Ridge Racer
NFS Carbon

And i think thats about it...
When i have some coin id love to try out UT3 with m+k support if my friends and fellow geeks rate it well

PSN ID: Nightwyrm

Games:  Orange Box (love to play TF2 more but the servers are massively crap) plus whatever I'm renting at the time.

A little OT but I also have Armored Core 4...  one of the biggest wastes of money I've played (as is also the opinion of everyone I've shown it to).  Yell

Ill agree with you there, i bought it based on a memory of playing a demo
on the original on PSone which seemed quite cool at the time but turned out
a bit different to AC4 :(

luckily it only cost me $30 and i think my flatmate likes to play it
occasionally - hes strange so i dont question his taste in games lol

i think armoured core 4 is an aquired taste really. some people love it, some hate it. i have a few mates who own it and don't play it anymore because they got bored of it. i think you really have to have a passion for anime/manga with an emphasis on mechs to actually enjoy this game. i still play one on one with my flatmate all the time.

Out of curiousity, how is CoD4 online? I may buy it on Monday (Along with my Hori Arcade stick for PS3, which will be for my T5 DR when I buy it. =D!)

COD4 online without a doubt is the best online fps at present! Theres something like 15 different game types (havnt counted). And the level up system keeps it fresh. Without a doubt i say buy it, you wont regret it. They have put out a couple of patchs lately which have decresed my lag which is awesome, when i first got the game it was fairly unplayable online for me, but now runs smooth as.

There are.. theres a hell of a lot of aussies around too. i usually connect to there games and have absolutley no problem with lag (speedtest.net reports a 3.5mb connection to auckland btw).
Has anyone got unreal tournament 3? considering buying it, i miss unreal 2004's team deathmatch games (i only had the demo, but damnn it was good! lol)
Not long now and gtaiv comes out!! cant wait, you will find me online on that quite a lot!

I have UT3. Its pretty sweet. Team deathmatch/deathmatch are my favourite modes thus far. Only downside, not many NZ players (thought I'm starting to compile a list from GeekZone/NZGamer.)
