I'm amusing myself with this, which seems better than Clash of Kings which I dabbled with and got fed up with being crushed whilst sleeping when some drongo with Daddy's credit card bought his way to being a superpower and just wiped out weeks of hard work.

Anyone else playing?

Yep I've been playing for a couple of years. Nearing max Th9 although heroes are both just under L20. Getting itchy wanting to start th10 upgrade but this weeks update will keep me busy for another month or so.

I played this for a couple years, but unless your willing to part with buckets of cash you stall. I've moved onto Mobile Strike which is pretty much the same idea, lots of cash get you to the top but has a lot more elements to control along the way.

Started playing a few months ago and now th7. Enjoy the clan wars, I'm in band of Kiwis 2. Also enjoying Clash Royale, in Kiwi Clash clan.

I've been playing 3 years and am leader of an L8 International Clan. Happy for you guys to join. We war twice a week and help each other with war strategies. We are friendly and want friendly and mature and mature players. We spend a bit of time helping people become 3 star attackers at their respective town hall level.

@k14 : consider moving to 9.5 before 10. If you want more information on that let me know. Don't go to TH10 unless everything including walls are maxxed and your heroes at least 25.

Are you getting regular donations from your clan mates of troops that are strong and help you get decent loot? What town hall are you ? I can provide you a bunch of tips if you like.

Wait till you get to TH10 when pretty much everything takes 14 days to upgrade. It's good fun though, I promise.

Ok, you need to join a clan, Do you have a clan castle? Click on it. Happy to have you join our clan. p8gycyjq.

If you click on the Chat, click beside "challenge" and then click social, search for "networkn" and put in a friend request, (I am leader of DarkSideElite). I can then invite you and you'll be much better off.

Quick but extremely important tip. Do NOT upgrade your town hall until EVERYTHING (Including walls) are at their maximum upgrade level.

OK it does not seem to have the same layout (maybe because I am not in a Clan? Or maybe it's an Apple/Android thing?) so there is no 'challenge' and the player search requires a player tag, whatever that is - your name does not work.

Click on your username profile in top left - go to Clans tab, search DarkSideElite -it's the clan with the green/black shield. Can either request to join there, or look in the player list of the clan and click 'add friend' on networkn.

This is great advice. I'm clash of clans player.

My tactic is to accumulate gems, and uses these to produce a 1 week shield when there is a 1 gem special on boosting of resource producing units. This allows me to accumulate resources and build.

In the mean time I keep myself amused with Clash Royale, which is card combat type game with CoC characters.

And if you like CoC, then Boom beach is worth a look too. Similar but I prefer it.

In reality, raiding will give you considerably more resources than a shield will. When there is a boost it's a GREAT time to be farming (gathering resources via attacking other players for our new players). This is because there is so much loot in the game universally. I am a TH9 (9.5 actually) and I am getting 500K of Gold and 500K of Elixer and 3k+ of DE every raid. I won't raid for much less than that because the cost of an army to raid like that is very high. If you drop your trophy level down a little to silver 1 or gold 1, you are somewhat less likely to be attacked as much.
