Daughter bit of minecraft fan and wants to play with me (on LAN).

I'm running w10 Minecraft and she has Minecraft on an ipad.

I have tried following the LAN instructions on https://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/articles/429052#lan

I create a world, tick the multiplay Lan options as the instructions say and a world is created.

On the ipad the created (LAN) world appears under the friend tab but when I try to join it on the ipad, I just get an error "wow this server is popular ! Check back later to see if a space opens up"

And thats it.

Ipad is running the most recent version accord to app.

I havent created any live accounts etc as I dont want her accessing servers off my LAN.

I fear there is some rule that says you must create microsoft live accounts to play multiplayer even if its just on a LAN.
