Hey all was thinking about buying a Wii as they look like a lot of fun was wondering if any owners of Wii's could give me there thoughts and opinions on there consoles also which games they have enjoyed the most cheers :-)
Games i've enjoyed the most: Super Mario Galaxy - Platformer Super Smash Bros Brawl - Fighting Mario Kart Wii. - Racing WarioWare Smooth moves - Heaps of mini games
Yes they are all part of the classic nintendo series, i haven't been too adventurous with picking games. Wii sports is great for when other people are around also. Suits me fine since any 'hard core' games i play are on the PC.
I am one of those "adult gamers" who have a Wii and I love it. No one in my age group would ask me ever to come over to play Xbox or PS3 but I have a Wii and friends who badly want to beat me in Wii Tennis and Bowling. So yeah as a fun factor I love the Wii more. The Xbox has better games and the PS3 has better graphics (better console allround) but I love the party fun you can have with the Wii.
I love:
Super Mario Galaxy Super Smash Bros Brawl Resident Evil 4 Wii Sports Metroid Prime 3:Corruption
I have a PS3 and Wii, I wouldn't be without either. For gaming I'd rate the Wii though - spend more time gaming on it (attracts people who wouldn't normally be into gaming either).
cheers for the replies - ive had a ps2 for a while now and have plenty of games but have found that ive grown tired of the same old same old was hoping getting a Wii would give me a new experience in gaming as i enjoy the thought of being more in the game with the use of the Wimote will definatley have to look into getting one!
We had a PS3 and sold it and got a Wii. The Wii is used at least 20 times more than the PS3 ever was! Even the wife plays it and beats me every now and then on Mario Kart Wii.
If you want realistic graphics, sound and a cinema like experience then the PS3 is great but for 'fun' and family and friends you cannot beat the Wii. It's a great leveler, anyone can play Wii. Best game is Mario Kart Wii - we play online and race our neices in the UK.
