A work friend has created a world that is a virtual walk-through of where we work. It would be great to put online so everyone can see it. It isn't a potential security breach.

However, as it's full of mods and add-ons, he tells me this isn't possible. I don't play MC, but as a GZ member I thought maybe someone here could advise as to whether this can be done, or not - and if so, the steps we need to take. Thanks all.

I'm no expert, but answer is it probably can be.

The biggest issue I'm aware of with heavy modding is that the addons often break when minecraft updates, so you have to leave the server on a static version, people need to revert to older clients etc.

There are several different versions of Minecraft. The original one is now called Java edition, and there is also Bedrock edition. I haven't played too much with bedrock, but for the java version you should just be able to copy and paste the minecraft folder to share the mods and setup. Otherwise, if they use a mod launcher like prism launcher then they can export the mods and configuration as a zip file and share that. Prism is definitely easier as it manages the java version for you, and lets you customise which mods are installed.
