Brought back my 2 x 360s and PS3 from the UK.

Found out I cant pay for my xbox live membership with anything apart from a UK credit card even though i dont live there anymorea and MS doesnt allow you to change country on your account...
So anyway....due to this ridiculous rule I am forced to let my account die along with the 4 years of achievements and friends list etc etc since I bought the console on release day in 2005.

So now im simply trying to play CODWAW on my poxy new gamertag/account and anytime I get put in an american room my connection shows 1 bar...its like a slideshow the lag is so bad.
Line is Telecom Broadband ADSL2

In game options I have to go to preferences and Locale Only.
This forces the game to only choose from NZ/Aus hosts so sometimes you sit there for 10mins waiting for a game to join..

Maybe the electronic stores here should put a sign on the consoles saying 'please buy a fibre connection if you want to game online in NZ'

anyone at all here reading this play CODWAW on 360?

Such is the life of 360 owner. For $80 a year you think they would put some dedicated servers down here. I find myself playing more on the pc now.

I Played Cod waw on xbox pretty intensly with mates on live at the beginning of this year. Always did a local search, matches appeared quite quickly and were good connection. Its pretty much impossible to play with americans on Cod WaW and get a green connection. Stick with local searches and having open NAT should help with finding more matches.
