Went with that same deal this morning; certainly bested all other retailers' that I had seen. Have not played the original but this is the most exciting thing happening in my style of PC gaming right now ... especially as it is also in Mac gaming, even if my MBP has only the minimum required GPU :).

Installed before work but that's about all. Seemingly total reliance on b.net even for single player is interesting. Looking forward to exploring more!

Hmm, would be cheaper to buy it online from blizzard. (Digital download)

Got the Collector's Edition that I pre-ordered and picked up from EB Games earlier. The box is has quite a bit of weight...

I ordered my copy of the CE through work's reward system, so I'll probably get the game in December

One of my mates gave me his 7-HOUR trial key though =D

I have the CE sitting on my desk here at work, mocking me.

I'll wait until I get bored of Napoleon Total War, which I picked up from Mighty Ape for $20 last week.

SCII has no Lan support! Thats fail right there. I played the beta and wasn't all that impressed with it, thought it was just a update to SCI. But still if this is your type of game then go out and grab it. I'm more interested in the story than the game though hoping someone will put up the ingame cut scenes on youtube one day lol.

I might go out and buy SCII when all 3 games are out in a collectors pack or something.

Indeed I was quite surprised when I heard of no LAN support. That was the only way I played WarCraft 3 multiplayer and it is my preferred way.

As for cutscenes and videos, I'm sure they will end up there; I suspect that most of the space taken up by the game is in videos. They are pretty impressive.

I think @Kaos36 meant when all three species' pack are out... The next two are Zerg and Protoss specific storylines.

No doubt there'll be like LOTR style, one collector's edition for each "episode" then there's ultimate battlechest edition for all 3 species...
