Apart from Nate, BlakJak and I, anyone else been to Caprica gaming lounge in Albany ?

Went last night for a few hours, was a good night.

Did a review here.

If any other GZ'ers are wanting to attend, maybe could make an unofficial GZ event out of it ? :)

It really is a great place.  I stayed for an extra hour afterwards to use up my credit, would be keen on a repeat sometime soon

$45 for 20hours LOL

What a waste of money. What happened to sitting at home PC, games, multiplayer, skype or teamspeak, mates. That's all you need.

That place looks amazing! Somebody should build one here in Christchurch. I reckon that is pretty good value too. Wonder how often they will be updating their hardware.

Make it regular and I will turn up next time I am in the big smoke.

Nothing beats killing someone in the game, looking across at their disgusted face, and gloating.

To make matters even better, my online nick was a dig at XPD.  Yes, I am that mature.

Not everyone has a gaming PC at home. :)

Didnt actually have a really good look at them, but what i saw they seemed ok with wheels, pedals etc and racing seat in a frame.
My boss had a go, Ill check with him what he thought and let you know.

Blakjak and I had a race after the main group left.

It's the racing style seat, force feedback Logitech steering wheel (with paddles) and pedals, plus one of them had the gear stick in the area of a normal car - the rest had the gear stick up by the steering wheel.

haha yeah fare enough.

Reminds me of last Thursday night I and a mate decided to team up in BFBC 2 and be real dicks with the rocket launcher we joined a squad match aussie server and spammed the rockets there was one player who was silly enough to keep trying to get us and dieing for it , his messages in chat were getting angrier by the minute then he leaves his team and joins ours to team kill us. lol.  Team kills us 3 times just before his banning we knifed him & to add to his bad luck we both teabagged him, he then connects to the teamspeak were on and shouts you guys are F in C's you F w**kers I hope you C's Fn die!, Team kill us one more time before admin bans him.  Usually Im a good player and leave the rocket spamming to the kids. lol

Caprica needs to add Shogun 2 to its gaming list it would be tons of fun.  Players can set up quick multiplayer battles land or sea or there is the coop campaign mode.

Sounds like a really nice setup, were they running a driving simulation program or just a driving game?

They have them for the PS3/Xbox setups only, not PC unfortunately.
