So I think I'm missing something here. I picked this up on friday for XBox 360, have probably played 4-5 hours over the weekend. The game revolves around solving crimes so finding clues, interviewing witnesses, calling bluffs etc etc... I'm not having much fun with the interviewing witness part because often it seems the choices of True, False or Doubt are completely out of context.

For eg: The witness might answer - "How would you feel if that happened to you?"

You can't answer True or False to that!? That particular example probably had an opening sentence you could call True or False on, but more and more responses are formed as questions, and thus seem unanswerable with True or False. Subsequently I come away from interviews with very little accurate information.

Anyone else finding this, or just me?

They are not answering true/false. You are trying to decide whether they are telling the truth or a lie or 'maybe a lie'. You need to watch for a 'tell' like in poker.
I found the first interview of the street murder quite difficult in regards to asking the questions in the correct order.

Yup, but again, you can't decide on whether they're telling the truth if they ask a question, and their 'tells' are often wrong in my experience.

I'm about half way through the 2nd disk now. Some cases are very easy, other cases are still frustrating. I'm still playing tho so there must be more good than bad I guess.

yeah its not a bad idea, i really don't think its worth buying, its really not like gta, where once you've finished you can still do things, now that ive finished, its just really boring, the street crimes are repetitive/tedious

I just rented it from Civic Video. Finished it in 17hrs. Not really replayable but it was a damn fine game to play once!

I really enjoy the interviews, I found I did a lot better when I moved away from focussing on whether the character was acting twitchy/suspicious and thought about whether I they were telling the truth based on the evidence / story I had picked up so far.

Borrowed a friends copy last night...played for about an hour so far, enjoying it. Ive been replying more on the story than the characters reactions

I got an email from Rockstar today, no release date as yet but 'coming to PC this fall', translated into Noo Zullandish I guess we can expect in spring.

I liked the game initially but I have struggled with the order of clues, and the "tells" etc as well, I have tried a few of the guides and still didn't improve. Seems like the game continues like this all the way through and with so many games on my shelves un played I decided not to continue with it and sell it. I didn't like parts of the game where you were expected to know that this particular time unlike any other time before or without any form of indication, the same piece of evidence had to be put forward to the witness twice!
