Valve just announced that Team Fortress 2 is now free to play! I havn't got it, i had it on ps3 years ago when it first came out and really enjoyed it. Cant wait to download and give it a go! Will have to wait though as its a 7gb download.

Source - Steam

If you have CS:S it starts at 27%. I up to 90% now.

It depends on what other source apps you have installed.

If you have portal or HL2 installed then you will be spared downloading source and the common files in Orange Box. I think for me TF2 was "only" about 2-3GB as i had portal already installed. Where as CS:S or another source game you will need to download the common files and some other source updates. if you have nothing then you will need to download Source which alone is about 2-3GB. Even then Steam games are compressed so you will use less bandwidth than it say it will need. Good news is that after you have downloaded TF2 once any updates will be Delta updates so it will only change what needs to be changed so updates can be about 20mb

Yeah, I haven't used Steam...ever. So 10gb is everything I suppose.
