I got 2 months extra for playstation plus subscription, from the hacking that has occured so playstation plus didn't expire till december.
Was not intending on rejoining as didn't see it as value for money, most of free games are rubbish in my view so not value for money.

Hadn't actioned turning off autorenew as didn't think it would renew until playstation plus subscription ended, which after extra 2 months doesn't finish until december, yet they took the money in october, with still 2 months to go on my current subscription.

Doubt anything i can do, but not happy.

Have you tried to do anything? You could probably get a refund. Seems silly to autorenew now if the account doesn't expire until December. I'm sure it's an oversight on their behalf that they'll correct if you inform them.

Have sent email to nz support. See also there's an auckland phone number for them as well. i give it a go trying to work it out by email first, see what happens.

I just didn't expect them to take money until subscription expired.

At least you can turn off auto renew. Xbox requires you to ring up to turn it off. The more annoying thing is next time you get a couple of months it turns auto Renew on again

I have had to turn it off 3 times now and need to do it again

You could also issue a chargeback if you have problems, as if they gave you 2 free months, then they shouldn't have renewed it until nearer the time of that expiry date. Especially if you had turned off the auto renew, as that means you didn't give them permission to renew it. It sounds like it is a billing problem at their end, and that they didn't take into account the 2 free months after the hacking. I would be surprised if they didn't sort it out for you to your satisfaction.

Edit:
Just reread you post and that you hadn't turned off the auto renew. Still I don't think they should have renewed it yet, but you may want to check the terms of the free months you were given.

Me bad. Got reply from support. Turns out I brought it in August, so october was the extra two months. For some reason i had december on the brain. Will just have to learn the hard way, keep an eye on auto renewal products.

Sent email to support, checked four hours later and there was a reply, pretty quick response time.
