Sure it was mentioned in another thread, but Hogwarts Legacy is free on Epic Games Store until Friday.

Well, it's not the sort of game I'd normally play but so far so good.

This one may interest @eracode but I have recently started playing V-Rising on my PS5. What an Epic game.

It's action RPG done incredible well. It's also pretty huge, though I suspect not AC: Odessey large.

It took me a couple of hours to get into it, but it's absolutely worth persisting with.

If anyone wants tips, let me know.

There isn't really a story, but the gameplay is fun and the castle building, something I usually find annoying is actually good too, and inventory management is superb.

I'd love to play WoW again but don't have the time and can't commit to the duration required to group up for a raid.  Haven't played it in over 15 years.  Would my old character still exist?  Do they ever do promotions offering free play?

Anyone jumped back on to Starfield/purchased on PS5 recently?

Played 100 hours when it came out, hadn't touched it since. Didn't rate it that much, but for that playthrough I was trying to do everything with every faction. Got burnt out and started treating it like a checklist.

Replaying at the moment and I'm liking it a lot more, not sure if it's changes they've made or just the way I'm playing it this time around. Hopefully it keeps up, can barely remember the actual story but it's not like that's what Bethesda is known for.

Having recently finished Silent Hill 2 Remake, I’m now playing Cronos: The New Dawn, a 2024 game from the same dev, Poland’s Bloober Team.

It’s a survival horror game a bit like Dead Space set in a post-apocalyptic future and in 1980s Poland. Also reminiscent of the Fallout series.

Reading about it I see that, despite being developed on a ‘AA’ level budget, it is widely regarded as having achieved (or close to) AAA status production values. Looks and plays brilliantly on PS5 Pro.

I hadn’t heard about it until I went looking for a new game a few weeks ago. Excellent game and I’m really enjoying it.

Sold my gaming PC, so PC gaming limited to anything that runs on a i5 6500 and a P620 video card :D Its actually not too bad for a lot of stuff.

PC: Metalstorm, Sims 4 (love torturing them), CoD4 (classic game, always enjoy it).

PS4: Not actually touched in last month but did pick up TMNT Cowabunga for it (loved TMNT back in the day)

Xbox One S: After stripping it down to figure what I had stuffed up last time I used it, found the housing wasn't sitting quite right preventing discs from being inserted. Oops. Fixed, installed Sea Of Thieves and House of Ashes - I bought the DPA series on Steam and forgot I had some already on Xbox :D Will get into finishing House of Ashes, been fantastic so far :)

I have been playing Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

It's easily the most frustrating start to a game I've had in many many years, but there was something about it that made me want to continue and now I am having a LOT of fun.

The start is made half near impossble by terrible awful tutorials and complex game mechanics, and secondly by the fact that you'll die if a fly farts halfway across the map. Having said that, it's a LOT of fun and once you understand the mechanics, it's actually quite rewarding, and you can get strong quite quickly knowing a few things. It feels like it would be up @eracodes alley honestly.

If anyone wants any tips for getting started, let me know.

After that I intend to try again with Baldurs game and Cyberpunk 2077.

Forza 6 Horizon is due in May and I bought early access, which is going to be super cool. My kids and I really got into it over COVID to distract myself from the absolutely soul crushing stress I was under.

It's been a while. Great to see other Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 players here - I probably have 100+ hours on it and counting. I really enjoyed KCD, so I knew KCD2 would be even better.

I also got platinum trophies (PS5) for Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Demon Souls Remastered, Dark Souls, and Lies of P. Finished Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, and Sekiro.

Playing Soma for the first time. It's fun.
