I have been playing Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

It's easily the most frustrating start to a game I've had in many many years, but there was something about it that made me want to continue and now I am having a LOT of fun.

As mentioned I have played this too and loved it. So I was interested to see this announcement from the devs of KCD2. I reckon they could make a beaut Lord of the Rings game.

I got early access to Forza 6, which has now been in general release for a week or so. It's a masterpiece. Mind blowing really, what they have done with it. Probably the best map of all the games, though I have a definite soft spot for 3 and 4 too despite some of their annoying characteristics.

Got 007 First Light via Steam; alas I've been away for the long weekend, so not had ample time to play much yet. First impressions was - it's interesting and a different perspective (a young James Bond, and in training). But overall I'm happy with it so far.

Got the same game on XBox, fun so far... a slightly less 'stealth' vibe than the Hitman franchise, so I actually prefer it.

There's a little too much side-content training busywork for my liking, but there doesn't appear to be any real reasons to complete that, so I guess I will bypass it.

Rockstar has announced pricing for GTA6.

Preorders now open and releasing mid-Nov. That's 2026 in case you're asking.

US$80 for Standard Edition. The Warehouse is showing it at $119 which is somewhat surprising.

Just checked on PS5 and it's showing as NZ$140.

I think I'll order from TWL to lock in the apparently good price.

Edit: Other NZ retailers also showing $119.

Yeah. Some of my friends are waiting on a real disc because they want to use it across multiple PSN accounts in the house. I can understand why they would not want it to be out there on media with how bad retailers are at not leaking things tho.

When you've had your fill of the game, the disc can be sold to recoup cost.

Pretty sure digital games are shared on the same PS5 if it is set as the primary console for the account that owns the game. All other accounts that login to the same console can play the game without purchasing it. Same goes for PS+ subscription.

For me I’m just going to wait, it’s not out for another year on PC and honestly, controversial opinion, but rockstar games are not very nice to look at on consoles. Extremely blurry with overuse of temporal effects. And the controls are always very stiff and clunky across GTA and RDR games. Had to mod them to not have a headache playing it on PC.

The only series I liked was Max Payne and they haven’t done another in a very long time.

They can, but last I tried you are limited with how often you can change the primary console - that may have been xbox. Mind you I will probably not have a house full of PS5s like I did back in the previous generations and people coming over to play on them since most people I know have left the country.

This is the answer. Play then on sell.

Digital can highly restrict/prevent this on sell to a different account - codes used/can't be used again situation.

Personally I only ever want digital downloads as I can't stand the need to find the original disc to insert before being able to play the game.

I don't game very much, but purchased both a PS5 and Xbox Series X because I like the idea of gaming, even though I seldom get around to it. Then I got a PS5 Pro because I didn't like the idea of gaming on an "old" console.

I've been paying for PS Plus Extra and Game Pass Ultimate all this time, and realised I haven't played anything at all on Xbox in well over a year. The odd time I do play now I want to do it on PS5 Pro; so much so that I didn't try out Expedition 33, even though it's on Game Pass, because I wanted to play it on PS5 Pro - so have been waiting for a good discount on the digital purchase (or better yet, if it was a free monthly game).

I've finally made the sensible decision and cancelled Game Pass. Upgraded PS Plus to Deluxe (was less than $8 to upgrade for the rest of my subscription year) so that I can at least make use of the trials (although the number of games that have trials is limited).

I now want to get back into gaming more, but not sure what to play. I generally prefer solo games, as I doubt I could keep up with most online multiplayer - although I kind of like the look of Battlefield 6.

Upcoming there is the Halo Campaign evolved in July and later on Gear of War E-day.

I really don’t use the PS5 at all, though that might change with Wolverine and God of War Laufey. It’s a shame they’re no longer coming to PC as consoles limited performance really shows despite upscaling.

Good value for an Xbox user who plays a lot of different titles, but that's not really me. Since I now have a strong preference toward PS5 Pro, Game Pass for Xbox doesn't make a lot of sense anymore - it's $395 a year I can put toward PS5 games. If they hadn't come out with a PS5 Pro it would be a very different story. I just don't think there'll be $395 worth of Xbox exclusives that interest me each year, and if there is one I can just buy it instead.

PC gaming not an option. PC is old and very expensive to upgrade right now. Plus, I don't have an 83" OLED hooked up to my PC!
