Seems to connect Xbox 360 wirelessly you can via a Windows XP Media Center Edition-based PC throughout the home.

There goes that option.

Actually... just took a look at the xbox site and you can also connect to any Microsoft® Windows® XP-based PC, but it doesn't appear that the Xbox supports .avi's.  Looks like it might have to be a PS3 after all...
