Ragnor:
throbb: Can we take a snapshot of current prices and compare when they make the change?

This is the sites I use now, I assume they will add the new regions/currencies when it come out

http://www.steamregionalprices.com/

https://www.steamprices.com/au
https://www.steamprices.com/au/topripoffs
https://www.steamprices.com/au/topsavings

I check those sites too, but I don't think they can show a before and after, just the current prices.

I might price up my current library and then see how much it costs after the change

https://www.steamprices.com/au/app/730/counter-strike-global-offensive

scroll down, it shows a graph at the bottom.

Just noticed, my steam account is in NZD now. No update needed for the client to recognize the change to the steam wallet.

Friend pointed out an odd thing with the game, Heros and generals, Since they dont support NZD, it has defaulted to Euros.

damn, bought metal gear solid on special this morning for usd$9.99, now its NZD$11.99 which is about USD$9.17 according to google, so cost me another 82cents + currency conversion.  not a lot, but hopefully this means prices will be similar...

Rappelle: GTA V says its $75NZD, but when you go to pay, it asks for $92.
Shot steam.

all the way up until the last "confirm payment" page, it shows $75.  wonder if I've ever missed that before and over paid for a game....

EDIT: grammar

When the first announcement of GTA5 game out on steam it showed it being $45USD but when I went to the store it was $75, I took a screen shot and email steam support saying it was misleading and I wanted it at the original advertised price of $45, that fell on deaf ears......

Yeah they've updated the price to $92 now without honouring the previously advertised price. AFAIK by NZ law you should be able to get it for the originally advertised price... but yeah.

Looks like Humble Store has GTA V for $59.99usd

I bought The Witcher 3 last week for $47us on steam last week 20% off. That's about $60usd, on steam today it's $79nzd 20%off. That's like 25% more.

Seems some prices have gone up, some down.

Shopping around is always a good habit to get into, have a peak around see where you get the best deal (avoid russian key sites ofcourse..)

Not true -- retailers have no legal obligation to honour genuine pricing errors.
