afe66: Are standalone games dead. (ones not requiring/demanding online play).


Are online games also just games on death row waiting for the servers to be unplugged? How long do the servers stay online for any game, there is no such thing as buying a game for life, you buy a license to use until somebody else decides it isn't worth running any more.

Something on the rise of avoidance mechanics in online MMO gaming, and the rise of developers cutting corners when it comes to latency allowance. The deadly mix - seriously, YouTube Titan fight ffxiv lag. AAA MMO wrecked by sloppiness

Hi,

Im would love to know what a good game to play is for someone that is not really a gamer but wants to have a blast, something easy to learn-ish but alot of fun,

i have a very powerful gaming pc and a xbox one but i brought the xbox for voice commands and the high end pc cos YOLO.

also segregate into play by myself and play with friends over lan/internet.
