Meh, still interested in some of the older games.  WoW takes up soo much time.
Does anyone have UT2004 for PC they want to get rid of?

Only have a Intel E6600, 2gb ram, Radeon x1950 512mb PCI-E, Raid0 2x HDD 7500 WD 160gb.  Feel like I need something else.  Really looking forward to the new quad cores which we most likely wont see until end of 1st quarter next year.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, 4x 2GB Adata 1066+ DDR2, Sapphire HD4850 X2 2GB GDDR3 PCI-E Quad DVI, 1000w PSU & over 4TB HDD space, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Got my pre-orders in for Crysis and Assassins Creed ;)

Luckily for me there's a lot of Beta MMO's at the mo, saving some cash in subscriptions.

Loving COD4 at the moment, absolutely hooked. I was a huge GRAW fan for a while but got absolutely sick to death of sitting in the lobby waiting for the host to wake up and start the match. Ubisoft could learn some valuable lessons from Activision or even Bungie on what makes a decent MP interface.

Assassins Creed looks like it'll break my usual diet of FPS titles but really looking forward to Halo Wars and EndWar sometime next year too.

Shouldn't you be waiting for some sort of apple console, macuser? Maybe the iGame, where you can play yesterdays games, for more!

Im still drooling over crysis. Might pick it up early December..if its ever released.

Considering my background (Ok not background, but I have been using them for much much longer )is PC's :-P

Only moved to a mac in January...

I still know a lot about PC gaming, just don't have a PC :D

Althought I do have a Xbox 360 which does fine IMO(cheaper in the long run :D, no upgrading every 3months!)

Unluckily for me, I have to put up with Drac's s**t-eating grins most Mondays at work. Evil gloating bugger!

Yep, I agree wholeheartedly there. I dont think there's any doubt that, with the right system, PC titles look absolutely brilliant and they are definitely bigger in scope, especially mutiplayer.

But you get a lot more bang for your buck with consoles, and the gap between the two platforms is definitely closing. I like the convenience of my 360 and I definitely like the idea of not being tempted into a costly video card upgrade avery 6 months. I have a hard enough time getting game purchases signed off by the wife without trying to justify more hardware... lol

Yea definatley agree Vindaloo/Macuser, the console has 1 up on PC owners for gaming purposes.  Well when they make the damn things for a specific reason.  Its not like you goto a toy maker to make you a new business suit.

Ohh and COD4 looks seriously tempting.  Damnit.  Guess I might be upgrading again when the new Quad cores come through!

Consoles are good for some games but I just can't ever think of playing a FPS without a mouse so they're just ruled out

In saying that, I love playing Wii, especially since my partner can play aswell

You could always hire some of those games out. I try to get games for $2.50 a week at blockbuster, not new releases though. You could try dvdunlimited.co.nz too.
