freitasm: I can't say exactly in terms of performance gains for gaming though - how anyone would go measuring this?


i think the best way of testing it would be try out a game that you got lag with in vista and then try it again with sp1. lol if you already have sp1 installed though i guess this is rather useless. is there anything in dxdiag for testing performance improvement?

hmmm i did a quick google search and there appear to be a few online gaming benchmarking programs out there, whether they're for specific games or not i don't know, i'm not playing anything online at the moment so i can't check them out.
