It's also worth noting, that when you gain a new TH Level, you should upgrade your OFFENSE first (Troops, spells etc) and leave your defenses till a little later. This is called .5'ing

I'm a high level TH10 co-leader in a level 10 NZ clan. Great fun game and by complete coincidence am in the same clan as a supplier of ours. We're an adult clan which makes for much more appealing clan chat! Happy to share our tag if anyone is keen on joining

Been playing for a few years now..

Started a clan not long after.. have a few active players..

Started it because the clans I was in require you donate and be active daily.. which for me is not always possible..

Got the wife and kids in there too.. just a friendly clan with no restrictions..

Natives is our name.. and we're in Waikato colours.. :D

I've made it up to getting to the first level you get Dark Elixir. What do you do with it?

I still keep getting regularly pummelled by people raiding me which is annoying - every time I think I have X points, someone kills me royally overnight and I end up back where I was!

In the lower levels de isn't really too useful. But it is used mainly to upgrade your barbarian king and Archer Queen. Also used to train Dark troops or dark spells, do you have Dark barracks or dark spells? I'd get your BK going and try get that to level 5 asap. Then you can get some good use from him.

I've just finished TH10 upgrade. Now it's a bit more interesting having all 5 builders going strong. Don't seem to be getting hit too bad from the high level th10 guys. Only got AQ at 20 and BK at 18. I managed to finish all L8 walls a few weeks ago during the 1 gem raiding bug week. That was crazy. I think I did about 120 raids in 2 days!

I've just started playing, have been meaning to give this a go for a while but also have had my interest piqued by this thread. Early days and I'm still unsure whether the combat system will drive me nuts.
