Interesting point about WIN98SE - completely forgot that it does boot up a lot more quickly and was better for games when WIN2K and XP initially came out.

Would make sense for me to run it because I think XP will be strain for the GX150 (even if I boosted the RAM).

Thanks for your offer about helping out. My mate and I are both in Wellington and will be in touch if we get stuck. We both think that we will be going down the iPAC / Ultimarc path as X-arcade is just just way too big.

Did you order ya joystick parts from the US or locally?

Anytime bud.
Unfortunitly i had to order mine from overseas since at the time i couldn't find a local supplier for arcade equipment.
I ended up ordering the majority of my buttons and my joysticks from ultimarc which i can say from personal experience is a trusted place to buy from. The only downside i guess is the time it takes for shipping.

Just wondering if you're going to fabricate the wooden panels etc. yourself?
